How we ensure accuracy, independence and trust on every page. Adapted from established journalistic practice and tailored for financial media.

Independence

RockstarMarkets is independently owned and operated. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, and our editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationships, advertisers or partners.

Author credentials

Every byline on RockstarMarkets is a real, credentialed analyst with verifiable professional experience. Each author profile lists their certifications (CFA, Series 7, etc.), educational background, prior firms and specific areas of expertise. No anonymous bylines, no AI-generated authorship.

Primary sources

We cite primary sources whenever possible: SEC filings, central bank communications, exchange data, regulatory disclosures and direct interviews. When we cite secondary sources, we link to them. We do not rewrite Bloomberg or Reuters; we cite them and add our own analysis.

Editorial review

Every article is reviewed by at least one editor before publication. Analysis pieces with quantitative claims are additionally reviewed by a second analyst with relevant domain expertise. Breaking news may be initially published with abbreviated review and updated as facts firm up.

Corrections

When we make a factual error, we correct it transparently. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected article with the original text struck through and the correction clearly marked. Substantial corrections are noted in the article's update timeline. We do not silently edit history.

Disclosure

Authors must disclose any relevant financial position they hold in companies they cover. Authors are prohibited from trading securities they have written about for 72 hours after publication of any analysis with a directional view. Editors review disclosures before publication.

Use of AI

RockstarMarkets uses AI tools, including our own Rocky AI co-pilot, in clearly defined ways:

  • Search and aggregation: AI helps our analysts surface relevant primary sources and prior coverage. Final synthesis is human.
  • Audio narration: Article audio is narrated by AI voices. The text is the same human-authored article.
  • Rocky responses: Rocky's answers are generated by AI with cite-first enforcement. Rocky output is clearly distinguished from editorial coverage.

We do not publish AI-generated articles as editorial content. Bylines are people; analysis is human.
